You may have correctly started with $\displaystyle{50}=\sqrt{{{2}{A}}}\usepackage{cmbright}\Huge\$ , but when you squared both sides you mistakenly got $\displaystyle{4}{A}\usepackage{cmbright}\Huge\$ on the right side. When you square a square root, you end up with the radicand (what is under the radical).
